CORRECTION
as i wrote in the original page her mother is in fact austrian and converted to judaism. there is an israeli article in hebrew in a Reliable news website proving this: http://www.mynet.co.il/articles/0,7340,L-4005920,00.html
“את הילדות המוקדמת העבירה גרובגלס בפריז כבת יחידה לאמא נוצרייה אוסטרית ואבא יהודי-צרפתי” = ” her early childhood was spent in paris as an only child to an austrian christian mother and a french jewish father”
That article doesn’t mention a conversion?
this particular article doesnt but i found another article ( from an israeli newspaper ) saying her mother converted http://www.studioact.co.il/UserFiles/IfatExport(1).pdf
on page 4 ” בת יחידה לאם אוסטרית נוצרייה(שהתגיירה) ולאב יהודי”
which translates as ” was born as an only child to an austrian mother who converted to judaism and a french jewish father”
:)
Thank you.
I like the name Yael.
