Snooki, also known under her legal name, Nicole Elizabeth Polizzi, is an American reality television personality, television host, author, professional wrestler, and dancer. She appeared on the MTV reality series Jersey Shore, along with Deena Nicole Cortese, Pauly D, Sammi Giancola, Vinny Guadagnino, JWoww, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, Angelina Pivarnick, and Michael Sorrentino. Snooki was born in Santiago, Chile, and was adopted by an American family, of Italian heritage. She was raised in New York. She has stated that she had not met her biological parents at least as of the late 2000s.
Snooki is a self-proclaimed “guidette” who received her nickname “Snooki” in middle school, after the character “Snooki the Cootchie Crook” from the film Save the Last Dance, 2001.
Snooki is married to Jionni LaValle, with whom she has three children.

That is addressed above.
That’s a dna test which just shows matches with places your genes are most similar to. It doesn’t mean that any of these places are her ethnicity. You also have to use a paper trail to find your ethnicity. Just for example someone who is fully Irish can get things like Scandinavian or Orcadian in their dna results that doesn’t mean they have Finnish ancestry just some of their dna matches with that population.
I meant to say Irish sometimes can have Finnish in the dna profile but it doesn’t mean that have actually Finnish ancestry.

Because DNA tests show Ashkenazi Jews are one of the most homogeneous ethnic groups out there. The average Ashkenazi Jew is as close genetically as a fifth cousin to the other average Ashkenazi Jew.

Yes follers is correct. Ashkenazi Jews all cluster together just like Irish or British people cluster together. They can tell if you have Ashkenazi genes if you do a dna test. Ashkenazi Jews cluster close to South Italians in dna charts. You can google the info and find out a bit more on the subject. It’s very interesting.
I always point to this. Every famous person of partly Ashkenazi Jewish background on this chart (Buchdahl, Sedgwick, Connick, Jr., and Downey, Jr.) was tested as genetically equal to a “4th cousin or closer relationship” of Barbara Walters, who is of fully Ashkenazi Jewish background.

Adam, Ashkenazi Jewish is an ethnicity and race. They are one of the most homogeneous ethnic groups. All Ashkenazi Jews are fifth cousins. Like follers said, those that tested on Henry Gates Jr., like Sedgwick (half Jewish) and Downey Jr. (1/4th Jewish), were closely related to Barbara Walters (100% Jewish).
Snooki is clearly has some percentage of Jewish ancestry and would be closely related to all other Jews.
Anyone can convert. But this was exceptionally rare for the 1000 or so years before the 20th century.

Blue eyes are a genetic mutation that first originated about 8000 years ago in the area that is now Southern Bulgaria, which is geographically closer to Israel than it is to Norway. Syrian Jews have blue eyes, too. By now, Norwegians have more of them because of natural selection.
“Middle Eastern” isn’t a race. Besides, Jews aren’t “Middle Eastern” nor are they “European”, they’re just Jewish.

DNA researchers said the matrilineal ancestry of Ashkenazi Jews lead heavily to the “Middle East” (ancient Judea), but then in 2013 DNA researchers said these same DNA signatures led back to Roman converts to Judaism 2000 or so years ago and therefore “Europe”.

When Robert Downey Jr. was tested, he said Downey Jr.’s Jewish ancestry was Middle Eastern and that the other 3/4th of his ancestry was European, but okay. Jews are just of their own special race, which would make Downey Jr. and Sedgwick and a lot of other “Jews” actually multiracial in the same way that Olivia Wilde, Cara Delevingne, Damian Lewis, and Peaches Geldof are, except those four do not have much Jewish ancestry.

First of all Jews are an ethno religious group and genetics studies show that Jews all over the world are more genetically similar to each other than the people in whose ever country they live in.
Second you don’t think there are pale people from the Middle East?! Assyrians can look as white as Germans and they come from Iraq. Do you have some uneducated ill conceived uncultured and untraveled american belief that every person in the Middle East looks like Osama bin laden?! He’s a Yemeni and they are done of the darkest people in the Middle East. Comparing them to every other ethnic group in the Middle East sounds about as ignorant as comparing Swedish people to sicilians.
There are plenty of Druze who are pale as hell with blue eyes, Syrian leader bashir is pale with blue eyes and his wife could pass as European very easily. My mom is jewish from Poland and morocco and I am 40% middle eastern. I only have 3% European genes in my mothers line and the rest is middle eastern and North African.
Finally, snook I if she really has any jewish ancestry is not ashkenazi. She would be sephardic who are the jews who lived in and mixed in the Spanish gene pool. All the jews you named as ‘not being middle eastern’ which is crap science anyway, were ashkenazi not sephardic. Even though ashkenazi, Sephardic and Syrian jews are almost identical genetically they have different cultures and languages, such as yiddish and ladino, Hebrew is the common one among both.
