Peter Brant II is an American socialite and model. He is the son of industrialist, magazine publisher, film producer, and art collector Peter Brant and model and actress Stephanie Seymour. Among his siblings was socialite and model Harry Brant.

His paternal grandparents were Bulgarian Jewish immigrants.

Peter’s paternal grandfather was Murray/Moise Brant/Boschnak (the son of Bouco/Buco Boschnak and Rebecca Almaslino). Murray was born in Ruse, Bulgaria, and co-founded the paper converter Brant-Allen Industries with his cousin, businessperson H. Joseph Allen.

Peter’s paternal grandmother was named Lily Mercado (the daughter of Joseph Vida Merkado/Mercado Mordechai). Lily was born in Sofia, Bulgaria.

Peter’s maternal grandfather was Conrad J. Seymour, a real estate developer (the son of Richard Kent Seymour and Iona Marie Hickok). Richard was the son of Millard Fillmore Seymour and Harriet/Harriett Alice Battles. Iona was the daughter of Frank Ellsworth Hickok and Ora Lee Ames.

Peter’s maternal grandmother was Margaret Ann Pozun (the daughter of Christ Pozun, Jr. and Margaret L. Bergera). Peter’s grandmother Margaret was born in California. Christ, later called Chris Joseph Pozun, was the son of Christ Herman “Chris” Pozun, Sr., who was born in Podvrh, Braslovče, Slovenia, and of Stanislava/Slava Medved, later Bear, who was born in Plemenitas, Croatia.
