He is the son of Delia Lopez-Cepero and Alfonso Rodríguez. His brother is singer Jean Rodríguez, known as Jean. His maternal grandmother is from San Pedro de Macorís, Dominican Republic. Luis is married to Spanish model Águeda López, with whom he has two children.

He looks like a much darker, stockyer version of fellow puerto rican Lin-Manuel Miranda. So him being Puerto Rican and of Dominican ancestry makes a lot of sense.

I see a bit of tainó in his features, but he is predominantly white Iberian Spanish. He must also have African descent from Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic
He could never pass as white in America and Europe. It’s OBVIOUS that he is a visibly triracial man.
Dude looks biracial AF: short neck, fat cheeks, nose, eyes, coloring, and stature is very taino indian features. If he had that afro curly hair then he would look even more tri-racial. But make no mistake pretty sure he has subsaharan african blood cause he Puerto Rican and dominican so I believe his very dark coloring plays into that as well.
As for Alejandro Sanz did you know he is admixed too, not as much but is too he has filipino & southamerican ancestry according to a DNA analisis

Fonsi is part Dominican mind you. Fonsi would be in the 60’s% euro like Miranda, but with their native & african% switched, Fonsi having more black than native or at least be of equal amount.
