Kersti Kaljulaid is an Estonian politician. She is the President of Estonia, having served in the position, since 10 October, 2016. She is the daughter of Lindu (Raudma) and Jaak Kaljulaid. She is married to Georgi-Rene Maksimovski. She has two children with her former husband Taavi Talvik; and two children with Georgi-Rene.
Kersti’s patrilineal ancestry can be traced back to her eighth great-grandfather, Pelli Andrus, of Lümanda, Saare County.
