Really people? Really? They’re more than a bit related, Spainards are latinos/hispanic. Let me break it down for you folks who need to get off the internet and read a book! Latinos are those who speak a latin based language like hispanic, Italians, etc… Hispanics are those of Spanish decent. All Spanish speaking countries are because of Spain and their conquoring. They are more than a bit related the reason we speak Spanish is because of Spain. The spainard people are called Spanish as well as our language (do you see why?) because we hispanics are all of Spanish decent just changed because of geography and culture mix. Damn read a book!

Angolans are African and Filippinos are from Asia. They are not Latinos. Hardly no Filipinos speak Spanish and the vast majority do not have any Spanish ancestry. They have never been called Latinos. The Portuguese were in Angola mostly on the coastal strip and practiced slavery. Angola though is not a Latina country with nearly all of the Portuguese leaving Angola when it got its independence in 1975. Angolas are not a mixed population but are Africans. The people speak Portuguese as well as their Native African languages. Spanish, Italian, French, Romanian etc are Latin languages but in Europe people would call a person Italian, Spanish or French they are very different people. Latino is really just used in the United States mostly for Mexican & South American people. It was first used in the Nixon era to lump all these people together.

Italians and Spanish people are not African. Genetic testing shows that African genes are minimal in these populations. The countries on the other side of the Mediterranean are Morocco, Algeria, Libya etc. Crossing these waters to Europe is extremely dangerous and many people drown today trying to get to Europe. It is not like people could freely mix in the past. African genes in these populations are from Berbers and Arabs with very little Sub-Saharan African. I wish people would read more about what they are claiming. All people originated from Africa so all people can claim to be African but Italians and Spanish are no more African than any European population.
Also the Latin culture stems from Europe specifically Italy. Italy is the motherland of the Latin people.

What does a last name have to do with it?! Many people who immigrated to the states changed their last names to sound American. A last name does not classify what ethnicity you are, my cousins are full Italian but their dad changed their last name to Smith to sound American, does it mean their American? No, their Italian. Don’t base someone ethnicity on just a last name, that’s completely stupid.

I understand what you mean. At my school, there is only like 10 TRUE Italians. And once Jersey Shore got so much buzz then a bunch of kids out of no where would be saying, “Oh, I’m part Italian!” and then us “the true italians” would ask them what part of Italy is your family from they’d go “Uhh I don’t know I forgot” I’m annoyed that so many people pretend to be Italian.

It all depends on what genes you inherit some unattactive parents can have beautiful children and some beautiful parents can have unattractive children. It is not really a racial thing.
