  1. andrew says:

Vincenzo “James” Ercolani was born in Cellino Attanasio, Teramo, Abruzzo

Genuina/Gennina “Genny” Del Biondo was born in Pianella, Pescara, Abruzzo

James’ maternal grandfather was named John Lipiano

James’ maternal grandmother was named Clara Di Jorio

Di Jorio is the correct spelling and is Abruzzese as well.

This record is a bit weird but Lipiano (probably Lopiano originally) appears to be the maternal grandfather surname in other documents.
