Dash Mihok is an American actor and director. He has also been billed as Diz Mihok and Diz and the Fam.

He is the son of theatre actors Raymond Thorne (born Raymond John Mihok) and Andrea Cloak. His sister is actress Gwen Mihok. Dash was named after writer Dashiell Hammett. He was raised in Westbeth Artists Community on Bank Street, in Greenwich Village. He is married to singer Valeria Mason, with whom he has two children.

Dash’s maternal grandfather was Frank Theodore Cloak (the son of Franklin/Frank Valentine Centennial Cloak and Harriett/Harriet A. White). Dash’s grandfather Frank was born in Michigan. Dash’s great-grandfather Franklin was the son of John Henry Cloak and Sarah Jane Adair. Harriett was born in Pennsylvania, to English parents.

Dash’s maternal grandmother was Zoe Isabel Comer (the daughter of Henry Samuel Comer and Myra Amelia Wheeler). Zoe was born in South Dakota. Henry was the son of Isaac Newkirk Comer and Maria Healy. Myra was the daughter of Mark Dewitt Wheeler and Amelia Jane House.
