Clint Dempsey is an American professional soccer player. He is the all time top-scorer of the U.S. National Team.

That’s very weird. If you check the Daily Mail article, his family is very white, you see him as blond kid (facial features already odd though) between his blond sisters. I’d say he has a sort of New World look, like he would be part Puerto Rican (and not “Arab” as the feticist #muricansareallmuts say) .

It’s possible but he looks like he has something other than European in his background. A dna test would be interesting to see for him. Many people long term in the US do not know what they have in their background and can get a surprise if they do a dna test. A lot of Americans think they have Native American and far more have some SSA. It is definitely possible.
Yes, he could score small traces of non-European on a DNA test as other Americans whose family have lived in the South for generations. He has “Bass” ancestors from Louisiana thus that is a red flag, and a few relatives look relatively atypical in b/w pics. Bŕanches of Bass family sometimes identify as Native American.
