His father, Bedros Kirkorov (Bedros Filippovich Kirkorov/Krikoryan), is a Bulgarian singer and bandleader, who was born in Varna, of Armenian descent. His mother, Victoria Kirkorovа (née Likhachevа), was a Bulgarian singer. He has two children. He is an Orthodox Christian.

Philipp’s maternal great-grandfather, Manion Mikhail Alfonsovich, was of half-French-half-Russian descent.

Philipp’s maternal grandmother was named Manion Lidia Mikhailovna. Manion had Romani roots.
