Since when do Mexicans have green eyes? I would have thought she was half black and half white. She doesn’t have that Latina look. I’m guessing her mom is a white Mexican and not a Mestiza.

  3. She’s mixed race, she is Half Black and Mexican, and beautiful too lol.

I live in Mexico. Here in Mexico when I was in elementary school my teacher looked/looks like her. Same skin color and green eyes. She is full Mexican. Well that’s because Northern Mexicans are taller, whiter with different types of backgrounds

    • jarocho says:

shut up, i have been to northern mexico and they are not whiter or taller, the tallest mexicans are in Michoacan according to Mexico, while Northern mexican women are the shortest, Veracruz which is in Southern Mexico has mexicans of different background and we are more diverse than northern mexico where they only look like short little mestizos

      • Chichel says:

ok, @jarocho!! Im from the north and just registered here to set you straight. That was before I realized you were from V. If I had completely read thru your post instead of just scanning through it I would have not wasted my time. But im already here. You are might be correct about the diversity part only because by the ports there is more of caribean/african blood mixture. Which you will not likely find up north. And by your “short mestizos” comment is incorrect. Any Mexican knows that there is a higher chance than a northern person will be taller because of the chance them being more of a “Mestizo”. Than any other mixtures as by ports like Veracruz is, dear. And to give you a little F.Y.I., there are a lot of much whiter decent up north because of the high number of “Menonitas” that are in states like Chihuahua, Cuahuila and other states. Im only average at 5’7, but find to be above average around other paisas. If I sum up about the state you mention and yours, you are (or in my experience) have been mostly very short. When I go out im like snow white with my DWARFS! So very incorrect my friend. (Thats what you get for hablar then norte señor)

menonitas do not make up the whole population of Northern Mexico you idiot, keep believing that, Mexico did a height and weight measurement a few years ago and it turned out that the people from Michoacan were the tallest, both female and male while northern mexicans and southern mexicans the shortest, keep being in denial about northern mexicans being taller, you make me laugh, I have been to northern mexico like sonora, sinaloa, monterrey, baja california and i am taller than all of them, also you people are not lighter, the lightest mexicans come from Jalisco and Michoacan, they are the whitest and tallest in Mexico, Mexico did the study and you can look for it, you are in denial

i doubt you have even traveled, when i went to northern mexico, i only saw ugly short brown fat dwarfs, did i mention northern mexicans are the fattest in Mexico????? you can look it up, i wouldnt want to embarrass you if i posted the articles here so people can see the reality of northern mexico

You are so wrong. All over Mexico you will find people from different races, heights, and skin color. But you are actually wrong in saying that the nothern states have the shortest and in fact I think I know the study you are referring to, and guess what Sonora showed to have the highest percent of European decent, and it’s actually a northern state. Maybe you only go to the border towns of these northern states, and that’s why you have this idea of us but most of the people you see in the border towns are people from all over Mexico mainly the south, who come up to the North to sell to the tourists. All of my family is average to tall in height, so I really don’t know where you get that all people from the north are short. We have more european percent but we also have indigenous blood and we are damn proud of it. We have different indigenous tribes (yaqui, mayo, seris, etc) than those of the south. Even the indigenous tribes differ from north to south.

            Population genetics
An 18th century indigenous woman with her Spanish husband and their child

A study by the National Institute of Genomic Medicine, Mexico reported that Mestizo Mexicans are 58.96% European, 35.05% “Asian” (Amerindian), and 5.03% African. Sonora shows the highest European contribution (70.63%) and Guerrero the lowest (51.98%) where we also observe the highest Asian contribution (37.17%). African contribution ranges from 2.8% in Sonora to 11.13% in Veracruz. 80% of the Mexican population was classed as mestizo (defined as “being racially mixed in some degree”).[208]
This is from a study on Mexico’s demographics:
In May 2009, Mexico’s National Institute of Genomic Medicine issued a report on a genomic study of 300 mestizos from the states of Guerrero, Sonora, Veracruz, Yucatán, Zacatecas, and Guanajuato. The study found that the Mestizo population of these Mexican states were on average 55% of indigenous ancestry followed by 41.8% of European, 1.8% of African, and 1.2% of East Asian ancestry. The study also noted that whereas Mestizo individuals from the southern state of Guerrero showed on average 66% of indigenous ancestry, those from the northern state of Sonora displayed about 61.6% European ancestry. The study found that there was an increase in indigenous ancestry as one traveled towards to the Southern states in Mexico, while the indigenous ancestry declined as one traveled to the Northern states in the country, such as Sonora.[209]
