Wow most people on this thread are really dumb and ignorant. First of all 25% would make someone a quadroon 21% is not equal to 25%. She’s just a smidgen over 1/5 black. Now of course she doesn’t look black. According to her admixture, neither of her parents are black. Chris Rock is 20% white and he doesn’t look white. The average latino has some African ancestry. This isn’t unusual. People quoting the one drop rule are either uninformed or racist. That rule shouldn’t be applied to anything since it was made up by racist supremacist. Zoe Saldana is not black latino, she is mixed latino. there are actual black latinos who are over 80% black. Zoe Saldana is likely no more than 55% black african.

Michelle Rodriguez is about as mixed as Jessica Alba who is only 1/4 native. While she could call herself mixed with over 25% admixture, she is mostly white.

@multiethnicchick, I disagree with you. Zoe Saldana looks about 75% or more black. She looks like a black woman and she has repeatedly told the media she is black. I dont know what youre seeing but she does not look 55%black.

      • Samiiraa says:

@midori29 She said a few months ago on Sway I guess, that she wasn’t neither black or anybother race and that she hated to be labeled. So no, she doesn’t identify as black and she doesn’t look 75% black. 75% black is like Angela Basset or Gabrielle Union. Zoe is probably 45% African (with North African so actually around 40% West African), 50% Euro and 5% taína. Look at her mother who is mostly white.
Stop claiming every mixed women, it looks pathetic and desperate.
        , Zoe isn’t black.

I don’t know what she said on sway, but I have heard her say repeatedly that she was a black woman(in English and Spanish)

          • Samiiraa says:

@fuzzybear44 I always watch her interviews and she is clear about the fact that she doesn’t want to be labeled but is proud of her Latin roots.
I believe you but she only said that to black media, and probably when she was only cast on AA movies.
“Black”, “white” these are American labels and these labels are a negation of reality. Zoe is mixed-race, that’s a fact.

No she was talking to the Dominican press, in the DR. She clearly stated that she hated that they continuously ask her the same questions over and over. She says she’s a black woman, and they tell her no you’re just dark skin. Saying Zoe is mixed race, is no different than me being of multiethnic lineage . Neither one of us or pretty much anyone over here is a FGM

Yes she does. You don’t even know what black people look like. I’ve seen your comments on other pictures and you think gfull black people look like Halle Berry. You’re an idiot Zoe Saldana’s hair texture are no where near that of a black woman’s. If she looks so black to you. Why did she have to wear a fake nose, have her skin darkened and an afro wig put on just to play Nine Simone?

Because she was trying to look like a particular famous black woman, that happen to look like that.

Her and Zac Efron looked good together, they shouldn’t have broken up.

    African is obvious. Quadroon.

  4. M says:

This bitch seemed disappointed when she found out she had some Black ancestry. She’s ugly and looks like man anyway, it’s not like Black people are quick to claim her ass.

  5. cwm85 says:

She is mostly a Spanish woman. Her African mixture tho significant isn’t enough for her to appear one parent is african. In fact her family was ashamed pf african heritage according to her.
