Lola Glaudini is an American actress. She is known for her roles on the shows The Sopranos, Criminal Minds, and Ray Donovan, and in the films Your Friends & Neighbors, Groove, Invincible (2006), Drive-Thru, Jack Goes Boating, and She’s in Portland.

Lola is the daughter of Nina, a writer and college instructor, and Robert Glaudini (Robert Edward Glaudini), a playwright, actor, director, and teacher. Her father appears to be of half Lousiana Creole [African, French] and half German descent. Her mother is Jewish, of Russian Jewish, Ukrainian Jewish, and Romanian Jewish ancestry. Internet statements that Lola’s father has Italian ancestry do not appear to be correct.

Lola’s father is pictured here. Lola’s mother is pictured here.

Lola is married to Stuart England, with whom she has two children.

She is a fifth cousin of film director, producer, screenwriter, film marketer, and film distributor Ava DuVernay, through their shared paternal great-great-great-great-grandparents, Jacques Henry Glaudin and Magdeleine Clémence Auger. Her maternal first cousin is professional baseball player and manager Gabe Kapler. Her maternal great-aunt, grandmother’s sister, was actress Bunny Summers (born Bernice Siegel).

Lola’s paternal grandfather was Albert Lovenskey/Lavinski Glaudini/Glaudin (the son of Vincent Nicolas Glaudin and Camille Remy). Albert was born in Louisiana, and likely was of Louisiana Creole [African, French] descent. He is pictured here. Vincent was born in Louisiana, the son of Maurice Nicholas Glaudin and Louisa Pinta. Camille was born in Louisiana, the daughter of John Remy/Reinny and Martha/Mary/Margaret Rodriguez. Lola’s great-grandparents Vincent and Camille are listed as “mulatto/colored” on the 1880 U.S. Census and on some marriage/death records, and as “white” on the 1900 U.S. Census. Vincent is also listed as “white” on the 1920 U.S. Census. Camille’s parents are listed as being “mulatto” on the 1880 U.S. Census, and as being from Mexico and France, respectively, on the 1900 U.S. Census.

Lola’s paternal grandmother was Hilda Johanna Sturm (the daughter of Robert Paul Sturm and Clara Popp). Hilda was born in Louisiana, to German parents. Robert was born in Bretten, Baden-Württemberg, the son of David Paul Sturm and Johanna Henriette Winters. Clara was born in Karlsruhe.

Lola’s maternal grandfather was Leo Kapler (the son of Abraham Kapler/Kappler and Anna Friedman/Freedman). Leo was born in New York, to Russian Jewish parents. Abraham was born in Odessa, the son of Israel Kapler and Rachel Zukerman. Anna was the daughter of Israel Friedman and Lina Silberman.

Lola’s maternal grandmother was Rose Siegel (the daughter of Jacob “Jack” Siegel and Bella “Bertha” Barash/Borosch). Rose was born in New York, to Jewish emigrants. Jacob was born in Suceava, Romania, the son of Samuel “Sam” Siegel and Gussie Davis. Bella was born in Krasnostav, Ukraine, then under Russian Empire.
