He is known for his stand-up concert films Laugh at My Pain, Let Me Explain, and What Now?, and albums, and for his roles in the films Paper Soldiers, Scary Movie 3, Soul Plane, In the Mix, Epic Movie (as an albino), Superhero Movie, Death at a Funeral (2010), Little Fockers, Think Like a Man, and its sequel; Grudge Match, Ride Along, and its sequel; About Last Night (2014), Get Hard, Central Intelligence, The Secret Life of Pets franchise, Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, and its sequel; Night School (2018), The Man from Toronto, DC League of Super-Pets, Me Time, and Borderlands. He has also appeared on the shows Undeclared and Real Husbands of Hollywood, and launched subscription video service Laugh Out Loud Network, with Lionsgate. His musical alias is Chocolate Droppa. He is usually described as 5′4¼″.
Kevin is the son of Henry Robert Witherspoon and Nancy Annie Lee Hart. Kevin is married to Eniko Parrish. He has two children with his former wife Torrei Skipper; and two children with Eniko. He is a practising Christian.
