In my opinion, “Scots-Irish (Northern Irish)” should be replaced with a single term. Northern Irish would presumably be someone from Northern Ireland, while it here refers generally to protestant people in Ireland of British descent. Those people came mostly from Ulster, an area that is different (larger) than Northern Ireland, although it encompasses it, but also from Dublin. Northern Irish refers to a region, not to ancestry.
And I don’t see why different terms are used for Americans and Brits. Why would an ancestor have a different name if he immigrated to England than to the U.S.?
If you ask me, Ulster-Scots would be the most fitting for all.
@Follers, if you could respond to these questions I would appreciate it. 1. I am deeply sorry for adding people not famous enough to have pictures on bigstock.com or prphotos.com. so the first question is all the celebrities I posted without a picture can you please delete? 2. I really hope I didn’t offend you with my stupidity as stated before. Can you please say if there are any hard feelings? 3. Can you delete all my offensive comments to defending Trump comments to getting annoyed with good people like Neil Tennant? Again I am really sorry I won’t add any more celebrities for awhile. And if you can please delete all the celebrities I added without pictures. Thanks
This might sound like a silly idea for this website but could there be a page dedicated to demographics overall as to what percentage of celebrities on ethnic celebs are Irish, Italian, African-American, etc? Only a suggestion.
Oh well is there a way to delete the last person I submitted? Also if anyone could confirm Angela Kinsey who I think is somewhat famous from the Office I would appreciate it.
