Eric Bolling is an American television personality, conservative political commentator, author, and financial commentator. He hosts the show Eric Bolling The Balance, and has previously also been a host of the shows Cashin’ In, The Five, America, and America This Week.

He is the son of Marie and John Bolling. Eric is married to Adrienne, with whom he had a son.

Eric’s paternal grandfather was Gustaf Albin Bolling (the son of Aron Bolling and Lotten Anderson). Gustaf was born in Mariestad, Västra Götaland County, Sweden. Aron was the son of Sven Bolling and Anna Maja Andersdotter.

Eric’s paternal grandmother was named Ida Seraphina Johnson. Ida was Swedish.

Eric’s maternal grandfather was Thomas Aloyisius Catino (the son of Francisco Frank Catino/Catena and Francesca Caggiano). Thomas was born in Chicago, Illinois, to Italian parents. Francisco was the son of Charles Catena and Frances Kajohn. Francesca was the daughter of Tomaso Caggiano and Vittoria Iorio.

Eric’s maternal grandmother was Mildred P. Blasi (the daughter of Dominick Blasi and Mary Larocca). Mildred was born in Braddock, Pennsylvania, to a father from Pantafilio, Calabria, Italy and a mother from Brindisi Montagna, Basilicata, Italy.

Eric’s maternal grandmother died when Eric’s mother was young, and Eric’s maternal grandfather remarried to Mary C. Schorsch, who was Hungarian.
