Doug LaMalfa is an American politician. A Republican, he has been a Member of the U.S. House of Representatives from California, since January 3, 2013.

Doug is the son of Karon and Milton Joseph LaMalfa. He is married to Jill, with whom he has four children.

Doug’s paternal grandfather was Anthony/Antonio Archimedes LaMalfa (the son of Giuseppe Baglione Malfa and Anna Aliberti Alibergi). Anthony was born in Boston, Massachusetts, to Sicilian Italian parents.

Doug’s paternal grandmother was Marjorie Sophie Marie Lindberg (the daughter of David Fredrick Lindberg and Minnie Medora Anderson). David was the son of Johann Fredrik Lindberg and Mary Johnston, who were Swedish. Minnie’s parents were also Swedish.
