Daniel Palladino is an American television executive producer, screenwriter, and director. He is married to television writer, director, and producer Amy Sherman-Palladino. The two have collaborated on the shows Gilmore Girls and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, among other works.

Daniel’s paternal grandfather was Antonio “Anthony” Palladino (the son of Pasquale Palladino and Louise Brogue). Antonio was born in Pratola-Serra, province of Avellino, Campania, Italy.

Daniel’s paternal grandmother was Angeline Peluse (the daughter of Antonio “Anthony” Peluse and Angelica Devito/Devitt). Angeline was born in Pennsylvania, to Italian parents.

Daniel’s maternal grandfather was Harris/Harry Olie Hatlestad (the son of Ole Hansen Hatlestad and Kari Andersdotter). Harris was born in Minnesota, to Norwegian parents. Ole was born in Leikanger, Sogn og Fjordane, the son of Hans Olsen Hatlestad and Martha Andersdotter.

Daniel’s maternal grandmother was Lucile Elizabeth McCormick (the daughter of Jacob Francis “Frank” McCormick and Margaret Ann Mitchell). Lucile was born in either Minnesota or North Dakota. Jacob was born in New York, the son of John McCormick, who was Irish, and of Margaret Considine, whose parents were Irish. Daniel’s great-grandmother Margaret was born in Ontario, Canada, the daughter of Joseph Mitchell/Michaud, whose mother was Irish, and of Elizabeth Stratford/Strafford, whose parents were from Ireland.
