Place of Birth: Austin, Travis, Texas, U.S.

Date of Birth: September 6, 1954

Ethnicity: German, English, Dutch, distant French and Welsh, evidently 1/512 Spanish

Carly Fiorina is an American businessperson and politician. She was chief executive officer (CEO) of Hewlett-Packard (HP), from 1999 to 2005; the first woman to lead a Fortune Top-20 company. She has chaired non-profit philanthropic organization Good360.

She was a candidate for the Republican Party’s nomination for President of the United States in 2016.

Carly is the daughter of Madelon/Madelyn Montross (Juergens), an artist, and Joseph Tyree Sneed III, a law school dean, professor, and federal judge. Her surname is from her husband, Frank Fiorina, a businessperson, to whom she has been married since 1985. Carly has German, English, Dutch, and distant French and Welsh, ancestry. Her seven times great-grandmother, Margaret Montras (1691-1739), was of French descent.

Carly is evidently descended from Emanuel/Manuel Consalus, who was born, c. 1657, in Valladolid, Castile and León, Spain. Emanuel married Rebecca Janse Westfall, who was of Dutch descent. This would make Carly of 1/512 Spanish origin.

Carly’s paternal grandfather was Harold Marvin Sneed (the son of Joseph Tyree/Tyre Sneed and Georgia H. Beal). Harold was born in Milam County, Texas. Joseph was the son of Joseph Peakin/Perkins Sneed and Achsah Bond Harris; Joseph was a prominent Methodist minister, educator, and farmer. Georgia was the daughter of John Beal and Mary Ann Cullins/Cullen.

Carly’s paternal grandmother was Cara Carlton Weber (the daughter of John Walker Weber and Maude Graves). Cara was born in Nashville, Davidson, Tennessee. John was the son of Heinrich Weber and Margaret Isabella Walker. Maude was the daughter of Henry Graves and Susan Harris.

Carly’s maternal grandfather was Edgar Adam Juergens (the son of George H. Juergens and Johanna “Jennie” Von Leuve/Van Leeuwe). Edgar was born in Covington, Kenton, Kentucky, to parents who were born in Cincinnati, Hamilton, Ohio. George was the son of German parents, John Frederick Juergens and Johanna Catharine Beckmann. Carly’s great-grandmother Johanna was also the daughter of German parents, Leonhard/Leonard Van Leeuwe and Maria/Mary Anne Woll/Wolle/Wahl, with her mother having been born in Baden-Württemberg.

Carly’s maternal grandmother was Clara Marie Hall (the daughter of George M. Hall and Emma Charlotte Montross). Clara was born in Toledo, Lucas, Ohio. George was the son of Elihu/Elihugh Hall and Maria Wilson. Emma was the daughter of Elijah Montross and Charity Mariah Casebeer.
