Rapper Tyga got his stage name from his 1/2 Vietnamese 1/2 African American mother, Pasionaye Nguyen, who compared his Black-Amerasian looks to Tiger Woods. Tyga changed the spelling from Tiger to Tyga as he pursued his career in rapping.
Hard work paid off as he first signed with his cousin, Travis McCoy, of Gym Class Heroes. He recently signed to Young Money Entertainment, the brainchild of the rapper Lil Wayne.

Dude, I’ve always thought Tyga was just African American! This proves you CANNOT determine a person’s race by appearance. I’ve always thought Chris Brown was mixed. But, I recently discovered he’s just African American, (although, it’s kinda obviously he’s black. Just look at his hair, and facial structure). It’s funny how things are. But that’s life!

Jamaican Black is very different since Jamaican blacks are mixed with everything under the sun like myself. Our features are slightly different because of this and because of where we are situated on the glove. So the author has alright to make the differentiation. Afro-Jamaicans are nothing like African-Americans. Both have their special and unique differences that I admire.
