Ethnicity is language and culture, not genetics/DNA

the “white race” are nothing but the West Eurasians who have developed a lighter skin than those West Eurasians who are visibly brown-skinned. Scientifically, there are many distinct “white groups” that should best be referred to in more specific terms, like “Northern Europeans”, “Southern Europeans”, “Caucasians”, and so on. You can’t identify a person’s genetic ancestry only based on his skin color or his eye color.

Of course, “whites” have their own relatively minor, but still perceptible and unique genetic profile, and they are all more or less related (though not in very recent times). Besides, they have been exchanging genes and mixing extensively in different proportions, especially in the last 15,000 years. So, we can’t really find a group of individuals and say: “this is a good proxy for the white race”. The problem is that we can’t agree on a common thing distinguishing all of them from all the rest of human groups. That is, apart from their having a very high percentage of people carrying mutations that cause light skin, but not necessarily being directly related to each other. In some extreme cases, very “white” people are clearly genetically related (only partially, of course) with darker-skinned people, as is the case of Slavs/Scandinavians and Indians.

Also, “whites” aren’t necessarily “European”, very much on the contrary to what most people who are obsessed about whiteness believe.

Actually, it’s now considered most likely by geneticists that light skin developed first in the broad area stretching, through a northern route, from Eastern Europe to Central Asia and, independently, through a southern route from Anatolia to the South Caucasus. That is, light skin didn’t appear in the “core” of what we today define as Europe, though it’s actually just a big landmass totally linked, without any invincible barriers, to Asia Minor and to Central Asia.

There is no white race. In any useful biological sense, there is just one human race. We can all easily interbreed. Sure, there is variation to be found in many places and skin pigmentation is one thing that varies.

In general, the lighter coloration probably evolved when people moved into lands farther from the equator. Those regions are usually cooler and have less intense sunshine. When the sun shines brightly, you can use a darker skin to stop or at least lessen skin cancer. However, a lighter skin more readily supports the making of vitamin D, which you do need actually. I think it was an evolutionary trade-off. (Not all evolution is speciation.)

This is a pretty simplistic idea and I am not a biologist. It will be somewhere in the right ballpark, though.

Race does not exist, you’ve been fooled by the US government, all human beings have the same genetic make up. Race is based on SKIN COLOUR in the United States, it has no basis in scientific fact. There is nothing to indicate any superiority of any kind in one “race” over another, race didn’t begin to take on its modern meanings until the mid-16th century. Johann Friedrich Blumenbach divided the human species into five races in 1779, it’s not based on reality. The “Europeans” invented this ——– so they’ll appear as more superior than others

And he isn’t “Dutch” in the sense that countries are named after the people who conquered/invaded the lands, so how did NAMES become ethnicities? It’s non negotiable.
