Tyson Beckford is an American supermodel and actor. He is a Ralph Lauren Polo model. He has hosted the program Make Me a Supermodel, and appeared in the films Trois 2: Pandora’s Box, Biker Boyz, Into the Blue, Kings of the Evening, Hotel California, Addicted (2014), Chocolate City, and Supermodel (2015).
His parents, Hillary Dixon Hall and Lloyd Beckford, are Jamaican. He has African-Jamaican, African-Panamanian, and Chinese ancestry. He spent part of his childhood in Jamaica, as well as in The Bronx, New York City. He is an ambasador for Kick 4 Life, an organization that uses soccer to engage vulnerable youth in holistic care and support in Lesotho.

anonymous february 5th: you sound like a fool trying to tell someone what they are or are not. you think tiger woods is a fool for saying he’s only part black…have you seen his mom!? she’s obviously asian. in fact, tiger is more asian than black because his father was also part chinese. i don’t even understand how this can be up for debate when you can easily verify this fact by simply looking at his parents.
not all mixed race people come out looking the same way. my friend is half japanese half white and he looks white but his brother looks asian. same family and they don’t even look alike!

Why is this such a big issue? Black mixes come out all types of ways, two offspring of the same parents can look completely different. Does it matter who’s side has what and what the percentages are? Take Wentworth Miller for example, looking at him he looks like a normal white guy but he’s biracial. So why can’t a dark skinned guy be multiracial?

Tyson Beckford looks a fool trying to say he is mixed with Chinese. He almost look as dumb as Tiger Woods who says he is only 1/4 black and Tiger Woods is darker than a lot of Nigerians. There is a tribe in Africa where everyone has slanted eyes and a lot of black people that says they are mixed with Asian are liars. They come from that tribe. Kimora Lee and Amerie are mixed with Asian. This Beckford fool is not.

even though it’s not often taught Africa was a revolving door.Not only did they take Africans out ,but they also brought Asians and white in.Plus Black Asiatic people came back to africa on their own.Now because of climate ,some Africans over time have developed those eyes.China and Africa are no strangers to each other.Chinese people are descendants of Africans.Also with back migration,there are many tribes that have that asian lineage.I also forgot about the chinese live in East African in ancient times.
