Lyndsy Fonseca is an American actress. Her roles include the films Hot Tub Time Machine and Kick-Ass, and television’s The Young and the Restless, How I Met Your Mother, Big Love, Desperate Housewives, Nikita, and Agent Carter.
When describing her curves, she stated:
I’m half Portugese, so I’m built more like a Latina girl. I don’t think I’m fat. It’s hard to be around sometimes girls that are so thin but you just gotta own what you’ve got.
Her half-sister, Hannah Leigh, is also an actress. Lyndsy is married to actor Noah Bean, with whom she has two children.

Lyndsy’s maternal grandmother was Joan Marie Semas (the daughter of Leonard Furtado Semas and Maria Costa Lopes). Joan was born in Massachusetts, and was of Portuguese descent. All of Joan’s grandparents were Portuguese emigrants. Leonard was the son of John Furtado Semas and Rosalina Perreira. Maria was the daughter of Manuel da Costa Lopes and Maria Angelina Mello.

Portuguese is latin which makes her half latina
Latino/Latina = someone coming from Latin America, which has no denomination on someones race and they come in all types such as white, black, mestizo, etc.
Portuguese is a Latin Romance language like Italian, French, Spanish, Romanian, etc, but that does not make us not genetically European or Caucasian because our language has a Latin Roman influence in it. We are still genetically European Caucasoids and therefore white like all other Europeans whose languages have Latin language linguistic influence in them such as Spanish, English, French, etc.
So when you say shit like ‘Portuguese people are Latin’ that only refers to our language like several other European ethnicties, there is no such thing as being “Latin” genetically or being “Latin” morphologically. Also like I aforementioned “Latina” refers to a woman from Latin America and “Latino” a man from Latin America and “Latino” is not a race either and Mexicans, Brazilians, Argentinians, etc, come in all types.

This happen when you try to change real meanings of the word.And I am from Latin America and here Latino= Latin in English. The meaning of Latino is the same than latin in English. And the word Latinoamericano comes from Latino( latin) not the contrary.
