Gregório Duvivier is a Brazilian actor, comedian, and poet. He co-founded the comedian troupe Porta dos Fundos.

His father, Edgar Duvivier, is a musician and visual artist. His mother, Olívia Byington (Olívia Maria Lustosa Byington), is a singer. His aunt is actress Bianca Byington. On his father’s side, he is related to commander Theodore Duvivier, one of the promoters of the urbanization of the neighborhoods of Copacabana and Leme/Rio de Janeiro, in the late nineteenth century. Gregório is married to Giovanna Nader, and has one child.

Gregório’s patrilineal ancestry can be traced back to his eleventh great-grandfather, Michel-Ogier de Juprelle.

Gregório’s paternal grandfather was Edgar Duvivier (the son of Eduardo Duvivier and Aminta Terville de Castro). Edgar was born in Rio de Janeiro. Eduardo’s father, Teodoro Luís Maria Gonzaga Duvivier, was the son of Joseph Clément Duvivier, a Belgian emigrant, from Liège, and of Agathe Joséphine d’Amerval, a French emigrant, from Nancy, Meurthe-et-Moselle. Eduardo’s mother was Amália de Sá Wagner. Gregório’s great-grandmother Aminta was the daughter of Gualberto Júlio de Castro and Maria Clara Rodrigues Terville.

Gregório’s paternal grandmother was Ivna Thaumaturgo Mendes de Moraes (the daughter of Miguel Salazar Mendes de Moraes and Alita Thaumaturgo de Azevedo). Ivna was born in Rio de Janeiro. Miguel was the son of Feliciano Mendes de Moraes and Luísa Cora Salazar. Alita was the daughter of politician Gregório Taumaturgo de Azevedo and Maria da Glória Rodrigues Ferreira.

Gregório’s maternal grandfather is Carlos Amadeo Botelho Byington (the son of Alberto Jackson Byington Júnior and Elisa Cândida de Arruda Botelho). Alberto’s father was American electrical engineer, Albert (later Alberto) Jackson Byington, of Elmira, New York. Alberto’s mother was philanthropist and social activist Pérola Byington (Pearl, later Pérola, Ellis McIntyre), who was born in Santa Bárbara d’Oeste, São Paulo, Brazil, the daughter of Robert Dickson McIntyre and Mary Elizabeth “Mollie” Ellis, who were American Confederado emigrants, from Richmond County, North Carolina and Copiah County, Mississippi, respectively. Gregório’s great-grandmother Elisa was the daughter of Carlos Amadeu de Arruda Botelho and Brazília Whitaker de Oliveira Lacerda.

Gregório’s maternal grandmother was named Elisa Lima Lustosa (the daughter of parents surnamed Lustosa and Lima).

    His indigenous ancestry must be distant, he is white as snow and all his facial traits and bone structure are european, i would say he looks especially iberian(mainly portuguese) and germanic(mostly german and dutch). Also i think os unlikely that he has any black descent, he comes from a rich southeastern brazillian family, white southeastern brazillians are usually of mostly portuguese, italian, some german and spanish, and distant indigenous ancestry from the colonial times.
