Lisa Whelchel is an American actress, singer, songwriter, author, and public speaker. She is known for her appearances as a Mouseketeer on The New Mickey Mouse Club and her nine-year role as the preppy and wealthy Blair Warner on the series The Facts of Life.

She is the daughter of Virginia and James Lee Whelchel. Lisa is married to psychologist Pete Harris. She has three children with her former husband, Steven Cauble, an associate pastor at The Church on the Way in Van Nuys, California.

Lisa’s paternal grandfather was Ephriam/Ephren Lee Whelchel (the son of Francis Marion Whelchel and Esther Irene Mayfield). Francis was the son of William Harrison Whelchel and Isabell Peoples Rogers.

Lisa’s paternal grandmother was Claudie Fay/Fae Bowman (the daughter of Medford Frank Bowman and Emma Low Roman).

Lisa’s maternal grandfather was James “Jimmy” Berry French (the son of Charles Mason French and Nancy Pilgrim).
