Lilian Thuram is a Guadeloupean-French professional footballer. A centre-back and right-back defender, he played for Monaco, Parma, Juventus, and Barcelona, and the France national team. He was the most capped player in the history of the France national team.
Lilian was born in Guadeloupe, in the French West Indies. His family moved to continental France in 1981. He is a cousin of professional footballer Yohann Thuram-Ulien. He is married to journalist Kareen Guiock. He has two children, professional footballers Marcus Thuram and Khéphren Thuram, with his former wife Sandra. They are respectively named after Jamaican activist Marcus Garvey and Egyptian pharaoh Khephren.
His two sons, Marcus and Képhren Thuram, are also professional footballers
