Killer Mike is an American rapper, actor, and social and political activist. He was a featured artist on the songs “The Whole World” and “Never Scared,” and is a member of rap duo Run the Jewels, with El-P. His acting roles include the films ATL, Idlewild, Baby Driver, and, in voice performance, America: The Motion Picture. He co-developed, and presented, the series Trigger Warning with Killer Mike, and has hosted PBS’ interview show Love & Respect. His activism, which includes his music, as well as lectures and articles, focuses on inequality, police misconduct, and racism. He is also known as Mike Bigga and Jerome Jewel.
He is the son of a florist mother and a policeman father, and was partly raised by his grandparents in Collier Heights, Atlanta. Killer Mike is married to Shana, with whom he has four children.
