I thought that he was Indian. I know a Greek guy from Cyrus and I thought he was Indian too but he told me he’s Greek.
Most mainland Greeks look Slavic or northern Italian or Albanian.
I went to a Greek restaurant and I didn’t know who was who tbh only when they started speaking Greek or in an accent I could discern.
Jason definitely is on the darker side and his hook nose doesn’t help but if you can see past that you will be able to see he’s still European and his European Ayran features.
There’s a big gap between Europeans and Arabs. Arabs are more closer to Indians and Pakistanis and Punjabi’s etc…
Whereas Greeks are more closer to Italians and Europeans.
I hate that Greek Cypriots may have Arab influence since they originally came from western Greece from the Mycenaeans!
“Mainland Greeks” look Slavic or Northern Italian?? Crappy Internet nonsense promoted by noted troll.
some definitely do look slavic, like also albanians, as far as northern italians even more so, what is your idea of n.Italians dude? They are a brunette gracile med populace for the most more akin to iberians than s.italians. Only in the areas taken from other countrie sin the last 100 years or so we have foreign looking people, just because they are aliens to Italy (see Tyrol taken from Austria and some areas taken from former Yugoslavia as well some areas in the extreme north west taken from S.France.
Agree that some Greeks (and Albanians) look Slavic. All the rest you said is classic Internet ant-Italian crap/trolling.
Modern Greeks have a lot of Middle Eastern blood, and it really shows here.
That might be true for Cypriot Greeks unfortunately but not so much for mainland Greeks.
Also, Greeks Have been in mainland Europe for 2000 years longer than previously thought so we are very much European. I would say we are at the border and Turkey is definitely not in Europe but Asia.
Some people like you need to be a bit more accurate when you dish out the facts.
Greeks have been in near constant contact with the Middle East for thousands of years. Every test I’ve seen shows a strong MENA component in modern Greeks.
Greeks are Europeans, yes. But they have Middle Eastern admixture.
so do italians and iberians, with a north african twist that is missing in greeks
Panayiota (Roussopoulos)
His parents are Cynthia and William Mantzoukas.
