a latina is someone who’s ancestry/ background/ nationality is of a country who speaks a latin language (Spanish, Portuguese, French, Italian, Romanian), so yes there are people who live in south America who are not of latin European ancestry but are considered latino because they speak a latin language so fair enough they are not considered white, but most South Americans are of latin European ancestry (primarily Spanish) and perhaps a lot are mixed with the native peoples aswell, But nonetheless anyone of Spanish, Portuguese, Italian ancestry are still considered to be a white Caucasian as all Europeans are considered white Caucasians, regardless of them having darker features and coloured skin. if you wanna get technical they’d be categorised as Mediterranean Caucasians

I’m trying to understand you correctly. Basically what you’re saying ,is that those DNA tests taken down in latin America,on the non white Latinos are false?Because so far those tests show,those non-whites to have strong blood tides to Europe.Which by your definition,should make them full Latinos.Then lets say the Dominicans,they swear they have European blood,are they confuses?Also aren’t Creoles and cape verdeans, non-white Caucasians Latinos by blood,and not just by language?

That fixation on what looks Hispanic is highly immoral and stupid. There is no such thing a “Hispanic look” as Hispanic is not a race. They come in all different races. Hispanic and Latino culture rightfully implies to the real”Hispanics” Europeans from “Hispania”of Spain, and Latins from “Latium” of Italy which are all White people. That’s where it originated.
Hispanics of Latin America are usually (Mestizos) as their race, which is White and American Indian. Hilary Duff does not look Native American at all. She looks fully White/Caucasian. I also know another White woman who looks like Jennifer Lopez and that is Australian singer Delta Goodrem.

I’m from Scotland and NO ONE here would say she looked foreign if she said she was Scottish. There are plenty of “types” of looks here, as in other countries, that can arise without any specific racial mixing.
