George Newbern is an American actor. He is known for his roles in the Father of the Bride films and on the series Scandal; and for voicing Superman in various media and Sephiroth in Final Fantasy.

George is the son of Elizabeth and David Newbern. He is married to actress Marietta DePrima, with whom he has three children.
