Gary Valenciano is a Filipino musician.

His father, Vicente Calacas Valenciano, was Filipino, from Camalig, Albay, with some Spanish, and a small amount of Chinese, ancestry. His mother, Grimilda Santiago Olmo, was Puerto Rican, from Arecibo. She was of Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, and some either African or Taíno, descent. Gary is married to Maria Anna Elizabeth Nepomuceno “Angeli” Pangilinan, with whom he has three children.

Gary’s paternal grandfather was José Severino Valenciano y Solano (or José Severino Solano Valenciano in Filipino, the son of Domingo Valenciano y Francisco, or Domingo Francisco Valenciano in Filipino, and of Clotilde Solano y Samsón, or Clotilde Samsón Solano in Filipino). Gary’s grandfather José was born in Camalig, Albay, and represented the second district of Albay at the House of Representatives of the Philippines, from June 2, 1931 to June 5, 1934. Domingo was of part Spanish descent, and was the son of Antonio Valenciano and Melchora Francisco. Clotilde was of part Chinese descent, and was the daughter of Anacleto Solano and Josefa Samsón.

Gary’s paternal grandmother was Rosario Calacás y Pérez (or Rosario Pérez Calacás in Filipino, born Rosario Pérez, the daughter of Juan Calacás and Pascuala Pérez y Paje, or Pascuala Paje Pérez in Filipino). Rosario was born in Sorsogon, Sorsogon. Juan was Tagalog, from Santa Cruz, Laguna. Pascuala was of part Spanish descent, and was the daughter of Ambrosio Pérez and Marcelina Paje.

Gary’s maternal grandfather was Agustín Santiago y Cruz (the son of Cecilio de Santiago y López and Alejandra Cruz y Frassinetti). Agustín was born in Arecibo. Agustín was white. Cecilio was the son of Bernardo de Santiago y Serrano and María López y Martinez, whose own father, José Lopes (later José López), was a Portuguese immigrant. Alejandra was the daughter of Santana Cruz y Rodríguez and Belén Frassinetti y Ríos. The surname Frassinetti is of Italian origin.

Gary’s maternal grandmother was Emérita Olmo y Serrano (the daughter of Gabino Olmo y Onofre and Epifania Serrano y Rodríguez). Emérita was born in Arecibo. Emérita was either colored (mulatto) or mestiza. Gabino was the son of Galo Olmo y Serrano and Asunción Onofre y Carrión. Epifania was the daughter of Bernardino Serrano y Cruz and Dominga Rodríguez y Gómez.

      You forgot to put some Tagalog as part of his Filipino ancestry. Also, Spanish and Chinese must be separate from Filipino.
