Flavia Pennetta is an Italian professional tennis player. She is a Grand Slam champion in both singles and doubles, and won the 2015 US Open singles title. She is the first Italian player to be ranked world No. 1 in doubles.
Flavia is the daughter of Concetta Intiglietta and Oronzo Pennetta. She is married to ATP tennis player Fabio Fognini, with whom she has three children. Flavia is Catholic.
