Eric Fructuoso is a Filipino actor and hip hop dancer.

He is the son of Frederick Alexander Santos Fructuoso and Carmencita “Menchie/Chai” Querubin Magdaluyo. Eric has five children, four with his wife, and one from a previous relationship.

Eric’s paternal grandfather was Federico Novales Fructuoso (the son of Salvador Fructuoso del Rey, or Salvador del Rey Fructuoso in Filipino, and of María Isabel Novales y Carreón, or María Isabel Carreón Novales in Filipino). Federico was born in Intramuros, Manila. Salvador, who was listed as “Spanish mestizo” on records, was the son of Eulogio Fructuoso and Ignacia del Rey. María Isabel was the daughter of Mariano Novales and Anita Carreón.

Eric’s paternal grandmother was Josefina Ofelia Reyes Santos (the daughter of Ambrosio de la Fuente Santos and Lourdes Antonio Reyes). Ofelia was born in Baliuag, Bulacan. Ambrosio was the son of Ambrosio Raquel Santos and Petra de la Fuente. Lourdes was the daughter of Vicente Reyes and Emilia Antonio.

Eric’s maternal grandfather was Carlos Villanueva Magdaluyo (the son of Marcos Magdaluyo y Flores, or Marcos Flores Magdaluyo in Filipino, and of Baldomera Villanueva y Mercado, or Baldomera Mercado Villanueva in Filipino). Carlos was born in Pasay, Rizal (now part of Metro Manila). Marcos was the son of Raymundo Magdaluyo y Rabé, or Raymundo Rabé Magdaluyo in Filipino, and of Ciriaca Flores y Tenorio, or Ciriaca Tenorio Flores in Filipino, who was of part Chinese descent. Baldomera was the daughter of Hilario Villanueva y Valerio, or Hilario Valerio Villanueva in Filipino, and of Juliana Mercado y Manapat, or Juliana Manapat Mercado in Filipino. Juliana was also of part Chinese descent.

Eric’s maternal grandmother was surnamed Querubin.

Eric’s second cousin, once removed, is the third Executive Minister of the Iglesia ni Cristo, Eduardo V. Manalo.
