I have the exact identical skin color as Chris Brown. My parents, (who are both african americans ) are both dark skinned. Like, Akon dark. But, I’m bright skinned. Weird, huh? I have two sisters who are brown skinned. But, not bright as I am. Both of my grandfathers are dark skinned as well. My grandmothers, are dark colored brown.
Sounds like Maury time!
LOL
My family’s like that, too. It could mean you have some white way far back in both sides.
that’s not strange at all. you probably just have distant family that is your color. it could have just skipped a couple of generations. or you could have other races in your ancestry that were recessive until it showed up in you. perfectly normal
I sure wish, you people had common sense! My god, he’s obviously african american! Just look at T.I., for example. They’re almost look alikes.
When are African Americans going to stopped being lumped into one. Not all Black people are the same. Black folks from NC, can be a different racial makeup then Blacks from Detroit but we still have this one drop rule. There is not such thing as an African American race. People who are African American have ancestors that descended from Africa, that’s it but many people of African American descent can have other ethnic origins other AA’s don’t have.
Why do you still subject yourself to the one drop rule? It hasn´t been a ¨rule¨since 1967. There is no reason for Americans (yes, only Americans from the United States follow this) to perpetuate an antiquated theory on how a person´s race should be judged. And scientifically it has been proven that race doesn´t exist. When I´m told someone is black, I expect to see a dark skin person whose color is very close to the shade of black. When I´m told someone is African American, I expect either the person or their recent ancestors to be from Africa, the continent, Chris Brown is an American of mixed ancestry, point blank. You look at him and there´s no denying it.
how can Chris Brown be consider mixed if races doesn’t exist? ??
And White ppl aint?
He’s definitely mixed, just look at his mom. Her skin is a light as white people. Chris is light skinned to0.
Duhh everybody knows he full Black
He is full ‘african american’, he is not full black/african!
African American simply means any american of any known slave desent or ancestory, you did NOT have to be full black/african to be a slave!
so that means if ur full black/african u cannot be light skinned.. or there are no light skinned black/africans u need to walk around the world and see different things…i am a swahili from the coast of east africa and i am light skinned with long natural hair..and i am proud to say that i am black/african
