He is the son of Pascale Manni and Hervé Leclerc, a Formule 3 racing driver. He has two brothers, Lorenzo and Arthur, who is also a driver.

Charles’s maternal grandfather was Charles Manni. He founded Mecaplast (now Novares Group), a leading car parts manufacturer, in 1955 in Monaco.

Charles’s maternal grandmother was named Monique.
