Bill Parcells is an American football coach. He was a head coach in the National Football League (NFL) for several teams. He was nicknamed “The Big Tuna.”

Bill is the son of Ida and Charles Parcells, who had played quarterback at Georgetown University. His parents were both born in New Jersey. Bill was partly raised in Oradell.

Bill’s paternal grandfather was Charles Doyenne Parcells (the son of Charles Doyenne Parcells and Johannah O’Keefe).

Bill’s paternal grandmother was Esther L. St. George (the daughter of Thomas F. St. George and Julia Donahue). Esther’s parents were Irish.

Bill’s maternal grandfather was named Harry Baldassarre Naclerio. Harry was an Italian emigrant, from Napoli, Campania.

Bill’s maternal grandmother was named Guiditta Ferraiolo. Guiditta was an Italian emigrant, from Napoli, Campania.
