For the last time, Ashkenazi Jews don’t have Central/Northern/Eastern European ancestry. Light features doesn’t equal Northern European, there are people with this pigmentation in Lebanon and Syrian and of course much more common in Northern Italy.

Neiltennant you are Caucasian. If you’re going to use these terms you should at least understand the terminology. There’s basically only a handful of “races”, they’re not even scientifically accurate they’re more of a social construct more than an accurate taxonomy. Pretty much everyone from under the Saharan desert are Negroids, then everyone north of that and west of about Nepal are, Caucasoid. East of that are Mongoloids, including the Pacific islanders stretching to the aboriginal peoples of the American continents. Then there are subsets like Australoids and people who are even less easily categorized like Dravidians and Sinhalese.

What you specifically think of when you mention Caucasians are people that exhibit north European traits, when that really isn’t the sole depiction of people that fall under the Caucasian moniker. Dark Indians/Afghans/Pakistanis/Arabs/Iranians/Mizrahi Jews/Turks are all Caucasian. You don’t have to be pale white, with blond hair and blue eyes to be considered Caucasian. That’s just a mistake people make, you among them.

Getting into racial discussions/debates are almost never a good idea, it always results in people getting upset/offensive/defensive, angry, aggressive, etc. I’d just drop it. This really isn’t a forum to argue, it’s just a fun website to look up ethnic backgrounds.

By the way Naomi Campbell isn’t typical looking for a person of African descent, because she is partially Asian.
