Charlie Watts was an English musician, producer, artist, and horse breeder. He was the drummer for rock band The Rolling Stones, whose members also include/have included Mick Jagger, Brian Jones, Keith Richards, Ronnie Wood, and Bill Wyman. He was known as The Wembley Whammer.

Charlie was the son of Lilian/Lillian Charlotte (Eaves) and Charles Richard Watts, a lorry driver. He was raised in Wembley, Middlesex. He was married to Shirley Ann Shepherd, until his death, with whom he had a daughter.

Charlie’s paternal grandfather was named Charles Alfred Watts.

Charlie’s paternal grandmother was Edith Elsie Mearing (the daughter of Charles Richard Mearing and Beatrice Annie Neill).

Charlie’s maternal grandfather was Charles Henry Eaves (the son of Thomas Lawrence Eaves and Charlotte Lowen). Charlotte was the daughter of John Lowen and Mary Ann Newberry.
