Kaká, also known as Ricardo Kaká, is a Brazilian professional footballer. An attacking midfielder, he played for São Paulo, AC Milan, Real Madrid, and Orlando City, and the Brazil national team.
Kaká is the son of Simone dos Santos and Bosco Izecson Pereira Leite. He is a devout evangelical Christian. Aside from Brazilian, he has Italian citizenship. Kaká has two children with his former wife, singer and Evangelical pastor Caroline Celico.
Kaká’s paternal grandmother is named Janira Pereira de Sousa (the daughter of Elpídio Pereira de Sousa). Janira was born in Bahia, Brazil.
Kaká’s maternal grandfather is named João Silvano dos Santos.
Kaká’s maternal grandmother is named Vera Sônia Silveira.
All of his grandparents seem so have Portuguese surnames. Doesn’t mean he’s full Portuguese. I would think that he has Italian ancestry if he was eligible for Italian citizenship. Alot of Argentines and Brazilians with Italian ancestry have Italian citizenship.
