Juhan Parts is an Estonian politician. He had served as the Prime Minister of Estonia, from 10 April, 2003 to 12 April, 2005; and Minister of Economic Affairs and Communications, from 4 April, 2007 to 26 March, 2014.

He is the son of Helga (Arbeiter) and Ülo Parts. He was married to judge Merle Mahlapuu.

Juhan’s patrilineal ancestry can be traced back to his sixth great-grandfather, Järva Märt.

Juhan’s paternal grandfather was Karl Parts (the son of Jaan Parts and Anna Parts). Jaan was the son of Evert/Eewerd Parts and Katre Saarva. Anna was the daughter of Toots Parts and Liis Soots.

Juhan’s paternal grandmother was Helmi-Marie Albrecht (the daughter of Johann Albrecht and Lotta Luksep). Helmi-Marie was born in Vastse-Antsla/Neu-Anzen, Urvaste khk, Võrumaa. Johann was the son of Jakob Albrecht and Mari Rose. Lotta was the daughter of Mikk Luksepp and Ann Kikkas.

Juhan’s maternal grandfather was Juhan Arbeiter (the son of Villem Arbeiter and Leno Tambach). Juhan’s grandfather Juhan was born in Alajaagu t, Taagepera v Helme kk, Viljandi mk. Villem was the son of Kotter Arbeiter and Liis Sikk. Leno was the daughter of Willem Tambach and Leno Tarto.

Juhan’s maternal grandmother was Liisa Viira (the daughter of Aadu/Ado Wiira and Epp Kink). Liisa was born in Napsi t, Tuhalaane v Paistu kk, Viljandi mk. Aadu was the son of Mats Viira and Ell Neria. Epp was the daughter of Hans Kink and Marri Ritso.

Juhan’s matrilineal ancestry can be traced to his third great-grandmother, Maret (born 25 May 1807, Viljandi County).
