Josh Dallas is an American actor. He is known for playing David Nolan/Prince Charming on the ABC series Once Upon a Time.

Josh is the son of Diana Raymond and Robert Michael Dallas, Jr. He is married to actress Ginnifer Goodwin, with whom he has two sons.

Josh’s paternal grandparents are Robert Michael Dallas and Esther Marie Wilson (the daughter of Selby A. Wilson and Grace Himmel). Selby was the son of Charles Marion Wilson and Mary “Mollie” Heagy. Grace was the daughter of Henry L. Himmel.

Josh’s maternal grandfather is James T. Raymond (born James T. Sheets, the son of Frank Sheets and Vera Schmitz). James later took on his stepfather’s surname, Raymond.

Josh’s maternal grandmother was Doris Allene Dunlevy (the daughter of Finley Dunlevy and Henrietta Eich).

Correction. I found out some info on his maternal grandparents. His grandfather was born James T. Sheets the son of Frank Sheets and Vera Schmitz. He got the surname Raymond from his step father. Frank’s wife was Doris Allene Dunlevy the daughter of Finley Dunlevy and Henrietta Eich. Through Finleys mother’s line Josh has Swiss ancestry as well.

Correction. Found his mother’s marriage record for her marriage to her second husband. Her father’s name was James T. Raymond and her mother’s name was Doris I Raymond.

Mother’s last name is Raymond.

Correction. He is also Irish and French as well. The Irish comes from the Baskin family who married into the Coalter family and the French is from Charles Wilson’s mother whose father’s parents were both members of the Naudain family originally from France.
