Yung Gravy is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, producer, and entrepreneur. He is also known as Mr. Butter, Daddy Aioli, Lil Steamer, and Jimmy Continental.

His father was Swiss-American insomnia psychologist Peter Johannes Hauri. Yung’s father was born in Sirnach, Switzerland.

Yung’s paternal grandfather was named Rudolf Hauri.

Yung’s paternal grandmother was named Verena Wirz.

Yung’s maternal grandfather is Raymond Adelbert Cleveland (the son of Raymond Edwin Cleveland and Ella Maria Amundson). Yung’s grandfather Raymond was born in Wisconsin. Yung’s great-grandfather Raymond was the son of David Albert Cleveland, who had deep roots in the U.S., and of Mary Melissa Bloom, whose father was German. Ella was the daughter of Norwegian emigrants, from Fet, Akershus, Carl Amundson and Anne Johanna Siverson Hansdatter.

Yung’s maternal grandmother is Susan Lillian Smith (the daughter of Clyde N. Smith and Maren M. Madsen). Susan was born in Minnesota. Clyde was the son of William Harvey Smith and Missouri Ida Willey, and had deep roots in the U.S. Maren was a Danish emigrant.
