Tim Robinson is an American comedian, actor, writer, and producer. He has starred on, co-created, and wrote for, the shows Detroiters and I Think You Should Leave with Tim Robinson. He was also a writer and performer on Saturday Night Live, and had voice roles in the films Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers, as Ugly Sonic, and Aqua Teen Forever: Plantasm.
Tim is the son of Nanci, who worked for Chrysler, and Sean Robinson, who is in construction. He is married to electrical engineer Heather, with whom he has two children. Tim was raised in Clarkston, and Waterford, near Detroit.
Tim’s paternal grandfather was Darrol Everett Robinson (the son of Everett Earle Robinson and Levina Gladys Nichols). Darrol was born in Maine, and was a Mayflower descendant. Everett was the son of George Everet Robinson and Margaret Ellen. Levina was the daughter of Willis Stanley Nichols and Jennie Estelle Crowell.
Tim’s paternal grandmother was named R. Ann.
Tim’s maternal grandfather was Donald Vito Santola (the son of Rocco “Roy” Santola/Santolla and Lucrezia/Lucretia Constance “Lula/Leela” Glielmi). Donald was born in New York. Rocco was born in Casamassima, Bari, Apulia, Italy, the son of Donato Vito Santolla/Santola and Donata Maria/Mary Ottomano. Lucrezia was born in New York, the daughter of Joseph Gelsomino Glielmi, who was from Salerno, Italy, and of Maria/Mary Antonia Rizzo/Rizzio, who was also of Italian origin.
Tim’s maternal grandmother is Shirley Alice Hamzik (the daughter of George Hamzik and Winifred Tighe). Winifred was the daughter of Fred J. Tighe and Alice M. McSherry.
