Souleye is an American rapper.

He is married to Canadian alternative rock singer, songwriter, record producer, and actress Alanis Morissette, with whom he has three children.

Souleye’s paternal grandfather was John Fowle Treadway (the son of Lauris Goldsmith Treadway and Helen Stanwood Fowle). John was born in Massachusetts. Lauris was born in Massachusetts, the son of Charles B. Treadway and Emma Louise Goldsmith. Helen was born in Massachusetts, the daughter of Charles H. Fowle and Kate Amelia Byram.

Souleye’s paternal grandmother was Laura Louise Bosworth (the daughter of William Ezra Bosworth and Laura May Cole). Souleye’s grandmother Laura was born in Massachusetts. William was born in Connecticut, the son of Hiram E. Bosworth and Mary A. Nagle, whose parents were Irish.
