Ryan Murphy is an American writer, director, and producer. He has directed the films Running with Scissors, which he wrote, Eat Pray Love, which he co-wrote, and The Prom (2020). Shows he has co-produced and co-created or developed include American Horror Story, American Crime Story, Pose, 9-1-1, 9-1-1: Lone Star, Ratched, American Horror Stories, The Watcher, and Dahmer – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story. He often works with Brad Falchuk.
He is married to photographer David Miller, with whom he has three children.
