Roger Clemens is an American professional baseball player. He was a pitcher, who played 24 seasons in Major League Baseball (MLB).

Roger is the son of Bess and William Clemens. He is married to Debra Lynn Godfrey, with whom he has four children.

Roger’s paternal grandfather was James Henry Clemens (the son of Reuben Henry Clemens and Mary Loretta Tigue). James was born in Ohio.
