Raimonds Vējonis is a Latvian politician. He has served as President of Latvia, from 8 July, 2015 to 8 July, 2019, and President of the Latvian Basketball Association, since 21 January, 2020.

Raimonds’ father, Jānis Gunārs Vējonis, is Latvian, and served in the Soviet Army. Raimonds’ mother, Tatiana (or Tatjana in Latvian), is Russian. Raimonds is married to schoolteacher Iveta Sivoha.
