    Gypsies come from northwest India ( around modern day Pakistan or Indian punjab) but along their travels they did mix with locals on the way in Europe and the Middle east! Though Gypsies are classified as Indo-Aryans (a north indian ethnic group0!

    There are two types of Caucasian…white and brown .They are the same race but the centuries of certain weather conditions is responsible for shade of skin.they have the same history.

    Way before multiculturalism (Jorge) it has been an accepted fact that Spain,Ireland,Scotland and Hungry has Indian DNA to about 10-15% at least.They are still of the same group however.Indian from north India that is.Spain has it most and its reflected in the flamenco culture which is mainstream Spanish.So girls exactly like Penelope Cruz can be seen across north India in their thousands.Those are Punjabi girls and I assure you its true.You can google up Priety Zinta or Kareena Kapoor for two and I can only show you those bcuz you will not know the others.Only difference will be the clothes they wear.The genetics are the same.Hungry is proud of their link to India.
    Vast majority of Spanish are olive…..rarely fully white.

      Don’t be silly. Spaniards, Irish, Scottish and Hungarians do not have Indian ancestry. The few who do are probably the ones who have Gypsy admixture somewhere in their line.

      And Penelope Cruz is rather atypical looking for a Spanish woman, but her supposed Gypsy blood explains it. However Spain is a Mediterranean country, where it would also not be hard to find an ‘exotic’ type who is not mixed at all. Tan or olive skin tones does not mean someone is mixed.

        You may want to check your facts before making such bald statements.
        The flamenco culture of Spain is derived from Punjab,India.Flamenco is so main stream Spanish its unbelievable but its roots are from Punjab.Same applies to Ireland,Hungry and Scotland.Look on DNAtribes and its confirmed there.North Indians are caucasian and indo-European…both not the preserve of Europeans alone.Some Europeans like Portugese,Spanish,Italian,Greeks,Balkans people can be darker than Indian Punjabis and other north Indians.Greeks and Italians particularly can be darker.Romanians,Yogoslavs etc.Some namely Jat Punjabis (60% of total Punjabis) have 47 DNA points in common with Germans and Baltic peoples.If you don’t know that thats your problem.

        • Katz says:

          Okay, I retract my earlier statement about it being silly without looking into it. Sorry about that. But then again, how far back are you talking? Before certain migrations occurred? And does this apply to the general populations of these countries? And while Flamenco would have it’s ultimate roots in India, that is because it’s something the Gypsies are credited with influencing in Spain.

          • poppy says:

            Its part and parcel of the fabric of the nation which is Spain.Okay it may have evolved along the way from India to Spain.The origin remains in the DNA,culture,art and tradition.

            Same thing for Europe.Europeans came from central Asia .Thats where caucasia is yet they ended up in places like USA and still call themselves that.The north Indian has those genetics by right.They did not need to mix with the west.Jat Punjabis have 47 DNA points in common with Germans and Baltic people and thats bcuz they all came from central asia to begin with so how far is that ??? lol.

            Britain claims to be Anglo-saxon….that was centuries ago.But the Saxon part of that is called Saxa in north India and he has been there too and lives there.

          • Katz says:

            @Poppy Thank you for explaining.
