    hahaha

  2. mony says:

    A Sicilian who descends from Arabs

  3. Jello says:

    He looks Hispanic or mixed with Black. Many Sicilians have darker complexions. I believe that their ancestry is also black from the moors of Europe.

    • thomas1987 says:

      Moors aren’t black though.They looked similar to lets say arabs(Osama bin laden type)

      So this guy is a strange case.He doesn’t look Italian at all. Italian people can’t look like this.
      Wonder what he actually is

      • fuzzybear44 says:

        @thomas

        Moors can be black, white and every skin color that combo can make. It’s. The same for Arabs, so bin laden was just one color out of many

      • loiro says:

        the moors were mostly berber, and would look more like zinadine zidane than osama LMAO, what a reach. also the moors had very little impact on sicily anyways.

        • fuzzybear44 says:

          @Loiro

          Well yes, but up to about 150 yrs or so, berbers were still mostly black and mulattoes. Even during the slavery era here in the U.S, Berbers were clearly listed in the slave laws as N-word. Also as far as the impact the moors had, you’re basing on what you see today. Where either people have left, or the Dna contribution has been watered down

          • ectag says:

            Berbers were never considered black.

            Y’all should be shamed o’ yoself fo being such a self hating blackity man dat you trying to pretend Berbers was blackly.

          • fuzzybear44 says:

            @ectag

            What you need to be ashamed of is your grammar.

            Next the very word (Negro) was attached to the The ancient Berbers, it’s in the slave laws of 1740 to 1848. throughout most of their history, they were described as black . The Almoravids dynasty as without a doubt a black dynasty all experts agree on that one
            I can’t help it if people like yourself don’t read

            Also, I more than happy to say I am a black man

      • midori29 says:

        @Thomas YES many Moors were West African black. Look at the pics of the Moors many were black chocolate skin toned.

        Also did you realize that many Arabs are part West African mixed?? West African women were concubines to Arab leaders and the rich Arab men had children for centuries with West and East African black women their offspring were called ” Arabs” instead of Africans. So some Middle Easterners are part Black. You can see this in Katar and Saudi Arabia, with their curly, kinky hair and darker skin tones as well as facial features. That is why some people refer to Arabs as “sand ni””ers”. This is the historical truth.

      Sicilians don’t have any “black” ancestry, this fallacy has been postulated multiple times due to fallacies promulgated by revisionist history.

      Sicilians are (genotypically) Greeks with minor Arab/Berber and Norman ancestry.

      Nicholas Turturro, he’s a very atypical Italian, this is what typical Sicilians look like:

      Nothing else needs to be said.

      • Check7t says:

        Oh and Nicholas Turturro looks North African, which goes hand in hand with the ancestry of some European ethnic groups, although he doesn’t look anything like a typical Italian from anywhere in Italy or any European, just an exotic/atypical who happens to look North African from the Aghlabid Arab Muslim (“Moor”) settlement of Sicily centuries and centuries ago.

      • fuzzybear44 says:

        @Check7t

        This is just for a clarification purpose. Could you show me where at on your chart, that the people who had contributed that North African/ Arab DNA weren’t black North Africans or Arabs?(because I don’t see it). IMO This sample group was also very small, so I don’t know how you came up with the conclusion you did.

        Well go by your chart(Taken from Dienkes “Dodecad” genome studies, a guy whose work has been cited by Discover.), Sub-Sahara and East Africa both make a contribution to the Sicilian gene pool. Which means somebody up there was black. Did you even look at your own information?

        • Check7t says:

          If they were “black” North Africans (which I’m not even sure what this means) they would have Sub-Saharan admixture, significantly at that.

          Obviously what I meant was there is no significant Black African ancestry in Sicily or anywhere else in Europe, the admixture in Italy (along with the rest) is negligible and would have no affect on anyone’s phenotype, which if you look at the information you can clearly see that.

          Nicholas Turturro isn’t typical for Italy and he’s one of those exotic Italians who look in the MENA range, nonetheless his facial features look totally Caucasian.

          • Check7t says:

            Addendum: this will be my last response concerning this — especially since you (Fuzzybear) — have a history of promoting fringe beliefs on this account and other accounts of yours (such as that Midori account) it’s hard for me to take any of your comments with even a grain of earnest.

            There is no significant “black” ancestry in Sicily (they have far more Arab ancestry) or in anywhere else in areas of Europe.

            It means that there were black people in north Africa. It had nothing to do with Admixture.The desert didn’t happen over night, it took thousands of years, there was nothing to keep them out. Now as the desert grow, some black went North, while others went West, some to the nile valley, while others back migrated from Eurasian

            No you stated (Sicilians don’t have any “black” ancestry).Also this is just a sample group of 23 people, so you can’t speak on what Sicilians don’t have. Also it doesn’t have to show up in your Phenotype for you to have a certain ancestry. I have given lots of examples during the time I’ve been coming to the site ,of white people with black ancestry that did show up in their phenotype at all.

            (Nicholas Turturro isn’t typical for Italy )

            Here might not be typical today, but who known how things were in the past. Sicilians weren’t allowed to marry white people in the U.S at one time, because they were seen as non-whites

            @Check7t

            promoting fringe beliefs you say. I always welcome you or anyone else to prove me wrong.

            Secondly, I’m not Midori. You can ask Ethnic if you think otherwise.

            @Check you are very stupid this guy doesn’t look fully Caucasian at all, do you know if this guy live in mexico no mexican will consider him European at all

      • midori29 says:

        @Check7t , I disagree with you All humans come from Africa as they originated there. Many Sicilians have West African dna, the actress Marisa Tomie had a recent dna test her Italian mother is 13% African, she found, through a DNA test, which would make Marisa 6.5 African

        This girl is 20% West African black and she looks like Elizabeth Taylor

        *This site seems to be full of anti -black or African ashamed mixed people, its sad.

    He’s tanned i think

  5. Check7t says:

    He looks North African in my opinion.
