Neil Gorsuch is an American lawyer and jurist. He has been an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States, since April 10, 2017. He was previously a Judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit, from August 8, 2006 to April 9, 2017.

His father, David Ronald Gorsuch, was a lawyer with Gorsuch & Kirgis. His mother, Anne Gorsuch Burford (born Anne Irene McGill), was an attorney and politician, who was Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency, from May 5, 1981 to March 9, 1983. His stepfather was politician Robert F. Burford. He was raised partly in Bethesda, Maryland. He is married to Marie Louise Burleston, with whom he has two children.

Justice Gorsuch was raised Catholic, and attends an Episcopalian church with his family.
